I
love living on the central coast of Florida in the United
States. The weather is mostly fantastic, except for
the occasional Hurricane.
We
have so much wonderful wildlife in my area, and because
I live next to a preserve, I see Deer, Bobcats, Fox,
Raccoons and Armadillos on a regular basis. Egrets,
Blue Heron and Night Heron as well as Pelicans, Hawks,
Osprey and even Bald Eagles are a common sight here.
Being surrounding by this keeps me constantly inspired.
I
love to paint what is around me as well as what is not.
My works vary from Realism to Abstract, Portraits to,
well just about anything. I love the variety of life
and all that it has to offer.
Recently
I started going to the local Civil War Reenactments
and was completely enthralled by what I saw. I was expecting
to see a reenactment of a battle, but I was not prepared
to see the camps and Sutlers. I had not expected to
see spectators in period dress. To step back in time
as I watched children play much as they would have during
the time of the war. These reenactments have inspired
me to include a Civil War Series to my works. Visit
this site often to see new works as they become available.
I
was born in Nashville, Tennessee where I grew up and
attended art school. My career has included both Comercial
and Fine Art over the past 40 years. I have lived in
Florida for 28 years and I am presently working and
exhibiting in my studio in Historic, Downtown, Crystal
River Florida, Eades Fine Art Studio.
While
the Portraits and Civil War Paintings are my main focus
I also paint local landscapes, wildlife and abstracts.
I am also working on a Mermaid Series. My usual mediums
include Oil, watercolor, pastel and pencil.
I
also have an eBay store at http://stores.ebay.com/eadesfineartstudioonline
